Tanya

Tanya Tsui
Registered Physiotherapist

Tanya graduated from McMaster University in 2005 with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy and an Honours Bachelor in Kinesiology in 2003. Tanya has worked primarily in private rehabilitation clinics with an interest in orthopedic and sports injuries. Her focus is on integratingvarious hands-on techniques and specific exercise programs to successfully achieve treatment goals. In addition, Tanya is a clinical supervisor and mentor for students studying in Kinesiology,Athletic Therapy, and Physiotherapy programs.In 2013 she completed the Advanced level certification through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapists. She also has training in acupuncture, and has completed workshops at Stott Pilates. Tanya continues to upgrade her skills through various courses and sheis working towards becoming an instructor for Manual Therapy courses through the Orthopaedic Division.

 
 

Charles

Charles Lorusso
Registered Physiotherapist

Charles Lorusso graduated from McMaster University in 2005 with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. Prior to that he studied at York University and received an honours undergraduate degree in Psychology in 2003. Charles has extensive clinical experience working in private clinical settings. He started his work in rehabilitation when he obtained a Physiotherapy Assistant diploma from Humber College in 1999 and began working in private practice. He is continuously looking to improve his skills and knowledge base. He has recently achieved the Advanced Level Certification through the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapy. He uses a hands-on approach to treating his patients and develops rehabilitation program which caters to individual needs. Charles is also a mentor and clinical preceptor for students studying at various university physiotherapy programs. He has also devoted time as an assistant for courses offered by the Orthopedic Division of Manual Manipulative Therapy. When not working or studying, Charles enjoys playing sports and working out.

 

Michael

Michael Boni
Registered Physiotherapist

PT, CAT(C), ATC, FCAMPT, CAFCI

Michael is a Registered Physiotherapist and Certified Athletic Therapist in Canada and is also Certified as an Athletic Trainer in the U.S.A. Michael’s treatment expertise is in the field of manual therapy as he holds a post-graduate Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. He has extensive experience in private practice, treating primarily in the area of orthopaedics and sports rehabilitation. Michael volunteered as a therapist at many national and international sporting events including the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, the 2003 Canada Winter Games in New Brunswick and the 2005 Maccabiah Games in Israel. He stays current as member of various associations and committees. He is also an Instructor in the post-graduate Diploma Program of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy with the Canadian PhysiotherapyAssociation. In addition, Michael is a part-time faculty member at York University in Toronto, where he teaches Athletic Therapy courses to students of the Kinesiology and Health Sciences program.

 

Christine

Christine Filion
Registered Physiotherapist

Christine graduated from The University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (2005). She also attended the University of Western Ontario where she completed her Bachelor of Health Science (2001). She has continued her professional development by completing the Manual Therapy courses offered by the Orthopedic Division of The Canadian Physiotherapy Association and obtained her Intermediate Level in Manual Therapy (Part A). Christine is takingon-going courses in jaw dysfunction, vestibular rehab (vertigo) and concussion management. Herclinical interests are in the areas of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation as well as sport injuries. Christine has had a variety of experience in treating young children with orthopedic injuries and developmental delays. Christine’s practice approach focuses on an individualized treatment. She also utilizes acupuncture, targeting exercises and taping to help patients regain function. Christine is a French-speaking therapist who participates in triathlons.

 
Nelly
Nelly Faghani
Registered Physiotherapist
Specializing in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

Nelly Faghani graduated from the University of Toronto in 1996 and has practised in a variety of out-patient orthopaedic settings. (She is currently the co-owner of four private physiotherapy clinics around the GTA). Her clinical focus changed to Pelvic Health in 1999. She has taken numerous courses in Canada and the United States and also teaches post graduate physiotherapists (interested in this area). Nelly has a passion treating this group of clients and plans to continue to help increase public awareness of various pelvic floor dysfunctions and their impact on quality of life
 
Kathy

Kathy is a Registered Physiotherapist in Canada and is also a Certified Pilates instructor in the USA. Kathy has finished Level 1 to Level 6 training in Pelvic Health Dysfunction and has also taken advance post-graduate courses in manual therapy and acupuncture. Kathy had worked in various orthopedic settings, but focuses her practice in pelvic health since 2007, after the birth of her daughter, in which she herself received pelvic floor physiotherapy. She started to work in Pelvic health in response to her desire to help others maintain their active lifestyles while finding solutions to their pelvic health challenges.
 
 
Johnny
Johnny Gallo

Johhny Gallo has a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and also graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2005. Johnny is a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing at the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario. Johnny has a special interest in trigger point therapy, myofascial release, sports injuries and deep tissue massage for chronic musculo-skeletal conditions. Johnny believes in todays day and age where work pressures and life stresses are at all time highs that having a positive attitude and an active lifestyle is essential in maintaining wellness. Johnny truly believes that regular massage therapy is a vital component to ones overall well-being. Massage therapy complements the body and mind by releasing tension, stress, tightness and hence corrects negative postural changes, shortens recuperation time, and help maintain a healthy lifestyle.
 
Adam
Adam Keeping

Adam graduated from University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy.

He completed post graduate courses in Manual Therapy from the Orthopaedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is currently working towards a Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy.

He has also completed postgraduate courses in taping/bracing, acupuncture, and advanced exercise.

Prior to physiotherapy, Adam graduated with honours from York University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

He has experience in general surgery/medicine, mental health, cardiovascular, neurology, pediatrics, and geriatrics; and has performed consultation services for diabetes, wound care, and exercise tolerance for those with cardiovascular diseases. He worked at Toronto Western hospital on the Neurovascular unit for 4 years and has since obtained his NIHSS, TOR-BSST, and Level 1 Coronary Care certificates.

Adam has experience treating a diverse group of clients with various age and fitness levels, including treating motor-vehicle accident and WSIB cases. He utilizes a combination of education, manual therapy, specific strength training, acupuncture and other pain modalities in treating all conditions and injuries.

He believes this comprehensive, client specific approach, will best help his clients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
 
Andrew Kim
Registered Physiotherapist

Andrew received his Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2009. An experienced physiotherapist, he is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy and credentialed in the McKenzie Method.

Andrew is an adjunct lecturer in the University of Toronto's Department of Physiotherapy, actively involved as a clinical instructor and examiner for upper year physiotherapy students. He also acts as a clinical mentor for physiotherapists pursuing advanced training through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association's post-graduate diploma program.

His approach to treatment starts from carefully listening to each patient’s story and applying appropriate manual therapy techniques and acupuncture, alongside prescribing exercises to restore function and eliminate the root cause of pain.
 
Daniela Rapallo

Daniela is a licensed Massage Therapist, registered with the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario since July 2004. She attended Elmcrest College where she completed her Massage Therapy Diploma in Swedish massage.

In the past 13 years, Daniela has had experience with pre and post-natal massage, infant massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Thai massage, sports therapy, muscle injury recovery and other soft tissue injuries. Her passion is Sports Therapy which focuses on muscle injury, tightness, muscular imbalances and fascial restrictions of the body.

She also enjoys working with children and helping them recover from their injuries as well as aiding them through growing pains and decreasing stress levels that are caused by many factors of life.
